Adda52, an online poker website gets its new brand ambassador in the form of Legendary West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle. As per the agreement, Gayle, arguably one of the best cricketer in the world would be promoting the Adda52 website through various media and offline channels, and also on social media.
Mohit Agarwal, the co-founder of Adda52 was extremely delighted with the announcement as he went on to say, “ Getting Chris as our brand ambassador will tremendously improve our chances of building awareness about our brand and in turn the game as well.”
He further added, “Having Gayle as a mascot of Adda52 will also help the people relate more with poker and re-emphasize the fact that Poker is a skill based game that is filled with a fun & thrill factor. We are India’s poker pioneers and are looking forward to getting more users on Adda52’s award-winning platform.”
Chris Gayle also gave a comment via a press release in which he said, “I am really thrilled to be a part of Adda52! It has been quite a while since I have been playing recreational poker. I have a unique bonding with the people of India. When it comes to online poker in India, Adda52’s name has to be attached to it. So when I was approached to be its (Adda52) Brand Ambassador it was an immediate yes from my side. The passion for poker has been growing in India and I would love to be a part of that journey.”
Expressing its delight towards the newly formed collaboration, Adda52 has announced that it will be conducting a ‘Gaylestorm’ poker tournament that will take place on Sunday, 5th August 2018. The tournament will have a guaranteed Rs. 50 Lakh prize pool and a buy-in of Rs. 2500.
One of the world’s most explosive and powerful cricketer, the West-Indian batsmen plays for the Kings XI Punjab franchise of the famous Indian Premier League (IPL). Along with cricket, Gayle also enjoys a game of poker and he recently participated in the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Colossus High Roller Poker tournament that was held in April 2018.
Given his association with Adda52, Gayle has hinted that he would be participating in the future editions of DPT that are held in Goa, India. In addition to that Gayle will also be promoting Delta Corp’s new fantasy sports platform, League Adda as well.
