Greensburg to get a mini-casino setup in place of a shopping mall

Earlier In the week, it was reported that a casino operator has gone on to win a bid to receive a satellite casino license and in order to set up shop the casino operator has highlighted a western Pennsylvania shopping mall as its ideal location for opening its mini-casino.

As per revealed by the Tribune-Review of Greensburg, The Stadium Casino officials who are situated in Maryland are planning to set up their gaming operation in a soon-to-be-vacant Bon-Ton site in the Westmoreland Mall.

As per reports, The gaming operator was quite keen on receiving a satellite casino license and as a result, it was one of the frontrunners in Pennsylvania to submit a winning bid, which in this case was for $40.1 million.

The gaming operator also announced that it will be installing as many as 30 table games and 750 slot machines inside the two-level shopping centre.

It is expected that this move will make an estimated $120 million impact for the economy of USA, along with creating 440 full-time job opportunities and 600 job opportunities in total.
